Ciao from Sara, italian fruitarian
« on: May 18, 2008, 12:55:58 am »

 :)
Hi all,
I have been reading this board for a while, and today i thought "why not register?"
I apologize in advance for my bad english  :-[
I live in Italy, I have been raw for 4 years ans I am naturally becoming fruitarian. I do not enjoy heavy nutty meals anymore, even if I still create recipes for my raw classes.
I am so jealous  :) of the beautiful fruits that you are able to get, I am so jealous of Anne  <3 and her durians and chocolate sapote, we do not get this wonderful food here!! But I wrote on my blog that I was impressed by chocolate sapote, and one of my readers have been able to import a small plant of chocolate sapote. Apparently this plant can live in Italy and in 3 or 4 years we may have fruits here too, isn't this fantastic?  :D
Have a great sunday, the weather is rainy here today but i love it anyway. I am going to have a cherry and strawberry day!
 :-*
PS this is me, making my daily salad  ;D

Dear Sara,
Ciao e benvenuto. <3
It is good to have you on the forum.
Your English is great.

I hope your Chocolate Sapote grows well and strong;  Chocolate Sapote are related to the Persimmon and I know that Persimmon do well in a Mediterranean climate, so I hope your Chocolate Sapote thrives.

Great photo, you look lovely. :)
Have a peachy day, <3
love from Anne XX.

Hey-hey Missvanilla, glad you registered  ;)d

Yes, I am jealous of the fruit others get myself but thankful for what I can get and so glad there is enough of it available day by day. But the pictures here are always great to see  :)

Your English was fine for me by the way

Great English Missvanilla.  Welcome to the forum.  I also desire to try some of the fruits that I do not have access to.  However, like tanawana, I am grateful for the variety I am able to get and also glad there is plenty of it.  Glad you are enjoying your rainy day.

Hugs,
Shannon <3

Hello and welcome! :)

Your English is great, and much better than my Italian, or lack thereof. ;)

Thank you for the nice welcome!
Today I have been very lucky, I found an organic farm and they were selling the best strawberries, sooo incredibly sweet and yummy, i had probably 2 pounds and friends were surprised as they were expecting me to have some kind of allergy or skin problems after that  ;D
I have also found a place where to get lots of fresh figs, that will be ready in 1 month, i cannot wait!

Ciao Sara,

I was born in Sicilia, Provincia di Catania, but I moved to the United States when I was 8 1/2 years old. My official birth name is Rodolfo.

Nice to know food is popular enough in Italia for you to hold classes.

Ciao Sara! I am Italian too (writing in English so everyone understands  ;) )
I live in the UK now, but I have lived near Milan for the first 23 years of my life.
Where are you from?
