Fruity Jules:
Hi, Gosia!   <3

Great to hear from you!   :-*

I understand your questions about the greens.  Way back when, I mentioned to Kveta that I really liked celery, that I used to eat it as a child and I still liked it!  I asked her why she thought I was drawn to the celery, if I didn't really need it.  She said, "Because you ate it and liked it as a child."
Yes!!!  I knew right away she was right!

Sometimes it does help to get perspectives from other people.  I usually feel like I know the truth when I hear it.   ;)d

I think when it comes to greens and salads, it is the one thing that is really familiar to people.  Most people have been eating salads most of their lives.  But the idea of a whole meal of fruit is so unusual and foreign.  Eating just fruit seems so "out there!"  Salads and greens are more "normal."

I love your ideas about starting over. Yes!  Let's all be fresh and new!

Love,

Hi Gosia,
I too have enjoyed reading your posts other places.
I like the questions you asked.  I ask myself the same ones.
Looking forward to seeing how the answers unfold......
Love,
Maia

Gosia:
It's been a while... I like to take my time to grow. This year has been, thus far, a year of contemplating. I have been into raw foodism for 8 years now. Raw foodism that spontaneously turned into fruit loving. I started asking myself, who am I? Who are the humans? Are we frugivorous? Are we really meant to be vegans? Who am I meant to be? I still have not decided where I want to go from now, but I made an important realization. Who I am is up to me. I choose who I am. Or rather, I want to choose who I am, regardless of all the circumstances. It is not my past, evolutionary history as a frugivorous pra-human that I want to dictate who I am. And so this is how my journey unfolds. I look forward to what happens next.

I've been having fun recently, taking the photos of all (haha) my meals. Interestingly, despite all the complexities and uncertainty of life, somehow, over the years, I have learned how much can fit in my stomach. So it is not completely impossible for me to take the photo of what I eat before. You know what I mean. Usually, we know how much we've eaten after!

The truth? I am hopelessly in love with fruit.

Hi Gosia,

I like that.  I like seeing how I'm unfolding too, and your observations seem just like how I see my own.  Its so true... we don't have to see where we're going and we don't have to define ourselves and then be afraid to step outside of the box :)

Hope you'll write more, and would love to see how much you can fit in your tummy :)

Best Wishes,

Hello Sumaiden,

So true. Life is the opportunity to explore, isn't it? So lets' explore and have fun with what we love!

I think of putting the photos of my food in a little movie, this way it is more compact and easier to follow. I did so with some photos I took last year:

This time I am hoping for a little longer diary. I enjoy documenting the journey, although do not have too much for this sort of fun.

Warm regards,
Gosia
