Hello dear Anne, Cappi and everyone (if you'll excuse me saying that in your journal Anne) :-*

Just popped in to see how everyone is and wondering if your book was ready yet Anne.  Getting very close by the sound of it :)  It's so good to read that you are doing well and about the TV interview as well.  I do hope they present you as you truly are; so fit and healthy!!!

Your party makes me drool. yummo!!!  A very happy belated birthday Cappi :-*

Love to all,
May

Dear Shannon,

Just popping in to send you love, and a whole heap of it!  I'm sorry for some of the experiences you are going through but so delighted to read of your river and woodpecker.  A window into Heaven if ever there was one; specially for you.  How precious those few moments were and now you've shared them, I believe, they will remain vividly with you to hold when you need.

Love & Joy be yours
May

Dear Harmony,

Congratulations on your beautiful little Emma, she's so beautiful and perfect!!!  I do hope you are fully recovered from the surgery - I'm so sorry to hear you had to go through that and hope all is perfect now.

Our Emma was a big Emma!  9lbs 2 oz born 3rd Dec which was when we had Saturn and Jupiter shining brightly in the sky over a dish-shaped moon so that the three looked exactly like a smiley face.  She's such a placid baby.  I hope your Emma is too.

Heaps of love to your little family,
May

Congratulations Anne I'm so thrilled that you got the word out there and that you are pleased with the article.  Will it be available online?  I'd love to see it.

I hope you make it to TV, that would be amazing.

And congratulations on the book publishing too :-*

Thank you Maia :-*

I'm eating everything under the sun - yesterday and today.  I just decided that I would and then I'll get back into all juice.  I can't wait for the juicing!!!  I'll be eating out on New Years' Eve for dinner but other than that, nothing planned that will prevent me from a longer term juice feast.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas Day.

Love & Joy

Hello dear Maia,

Thinking of you on this Christmas Day.  Knowing that it must be a pretty strange one for you.  I hope you, Alden and your family can find some Peace, Joy and Love.

I'm pleased to hear about your neice receiving apple juice now.  I'm sure it will be really healing for her.  I had not realised she was still in hospital, I am sorry.  What is her name so I can send her healing thoughts?

All love to you in your Christmas card snowy wonderland,
May  <3

Hi Wo Dao :-*

No, these currants are dried grapes like sultanas and raisins.  I adore blackcurrants and remember them from my childhood in England but have not seen one here in Perth.  I think it's too hot here to grow 'real' currants, though I'm sure they grow them in other parts of Australia.

I found this on the web which may help you to understand our version of these...

"Sultanas - dried seedless white grapes kept light - coloured by treatment with suphur dioxide.
Raisins - Dried white grapes made fom either the naturally seedless Thomson type or the muscatel grape.
Currants - dried grape of the small black Corinth variety from Greece, now grown elsewhere. More tart and with less sugar than the sultana and raisin."

My work is always for the one company, I just do holiday (vacation to you?) relief and sick relief for the revenue counters or the receptionists so it comes up when anyone takes leave basically.  Half the time it can't be predicted ahead of time, and half the time it can.  How interesting that my work seems to coincide with your Mom's!

Love & Joy
May

Hi Wo Dao :-*

Yes, sultanas here are the same thing that you call raisins.  We have currants, which are small black ones, sultanas which are medium sized golden brown and raisins which are large and dark and always have gritty pips.  For that reason I always prefer sultanas, but I believe you only have raisins?

Hi Maia :-*

Thank you for your congratulations.  Emma is 16 days old already and a big strapping healthy baby.

Last week I only managed to juice for 2 meals most days but today I've had juice only and there's no reason why I can't see the day out.  Then I plan to remain on juice for the weekend and Monday.  On Tuesday I will eat a little ready for eating on Wed which is when we have our family Christmas gathering.  Then I want to do a decent period of juicing.  I lost 3 kgs aftr 5 days of juicing and felt amazing.  I've put back 1.5 but I haven't had the healthiest things the past few days for one reason or another.  Parties and gatherings as is the way before Christmas.

Anyway, as I've said elsewhere, I've been asked to work at a different depot for 3 days next week.  The manager from the depot I used to go to has moved so now I'm going to get work for both depots.  I met the manager of my 1st depot on Wed and he assured me he will call me in when needed.  Would't have much of a choice as the lady I relieve would make sure he did.  She's no shrinking violet lol

So I wish everyone a truly Happy Christmas filled with Joy, Love, Health, Hope and Wonder, followed by the best year ever for 2009.

I'll be back probably after the New Year.

Love & Joy to all,
May  <3

Hello dear Anne and Cappi, Nigel and Camlo :-*

I'm going to pop in now and wish you a wonderful and memorably happy Christmas in case I don't get time to come here between now and the Big Day.  I've been asked to work next Mon, Tue and Wed at a new depot and didn't want to run out of time to give you my wishes.

Hope you have a ball and have really extra special fruit for Christmas.

Heaps of love

Hello dear Maia :-*

I'm going to pop in now and wish you a wonderfully happy Christmas in case I don't get time to come here between now and the Big Day.  I've been asked to work next Mon, Tue and Wed at a new depot and didn't want to run out of time to wish my friends here joy for Christmas.

Hope you get to enjoy the Seattle weather somehow.  I have an old email friend there in Federal Way but we don't talk so much any more, she's very illness focussed and I'm afraid I have no time for that mind set any more.

Heaps of love

Hi Debbie :D

Wow, that shop sounds amazing.  I wish we had one in Perth.  WA (Western Australia, not Washington state of course) as *so* fussy about what they let in to their borders.  We can't even bring honey across the state line and certainly not any fruit.  There are importers of course but I think everything has to be treated and 'they' don't seem to bother with the most exciting tropical fruits.

David loves dragon fruits - the red ones have more flavour than the white and I've never had a yellow one.  Oh how I hope they have a chocolate sapote for you!!!  How awesome to try some exotic things anyway.

I also hope you have a truly wonderful time visiting with your family.

Heaps of love

Hi Maia <3

It's so good to see you posting again and I'm so pleased that you are back on fruit.  I really hope it helps Alden to feel bright and healthy and full of energy too.  Productive energy, for your sake lol

Oh Anne!!!  That's a classic.  What a wonderful fluffy toy :D
